Mechanical Engineer

A company is looking for a Mechanical Engineer for a 6-month contract position in Phoenix, AZ, which is remote.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct static structural and fatigue analyses using complex finite element methods

Provide technical oversight and guidance to global engineering teams and junior engineers

Ensure project and product compliance while managing risks and contributing to process development

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

Minimum of 5 years of experience in static structural and fatigue analyses for aerospace turbomachine applications

Proficiency in linear static, nonlinear / elasto-plastic, and fatigue analyses

Strong working knowledge of ANSYS finite element software and classical hand calculation methods

Experience in a highly regulated environment and ability to mentor others
