Job Description
Serve as the primary point of contact for quality and technical issues with suppliers and customers. Perform in-process and final inspections on manufactured products to ensure compliance with specifications. Manage corrective actions for mechanical discrepancies and provide feedback for material disposition. Coordinate and conduct supplier audits and quality surveys as required. Review engineering drawings and verify tolerances using precision measurement tools. Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, audits, and corrective actions. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes. Ensure adherence to industry standards and company quality policies throughout production.

The Successful Applicant
A bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or related field). Experience with metals and precision machinery. At least 3+ years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment. Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Proficiency in using precision measurement tools and inspection equipment to verify tolerances. Solid understanding of quality systems, audits, and corrective action processes. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and customer interaction. Ability to manage supplier quality issues and coordinate audits effectively.
