Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented, Pennsylvania licensed Attorney to join our growing Employee-sided legal practice. The successful candidate will show an interest in employment law and provide case handling assistance within the Firm's existing practice areas of employment law and workers' compensation. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic law office environment, and the job duties will entail providing hearing / event coverage, direct client interaction, professional development opportunities, drafting of legal complaints and discovery, as well as, eventually, handling a caseload.
- Duties
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as Westlaw and other written materials to support case development and legal opinions.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, memoranda, and other correspondence with precision and clarity.
- Advise clients on legal rights and obligations in the areas of employment law and workers' compensation
- In time, and after gained experience, manage case files from inception through resolution while maintaining meticulous records of all proceedings.
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Stay current on evolving laws and regulations affecting practice areas through ongoing legal research and professional development.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the law office to develop case strategy
- Represent clients in court proceedings or administrative hearings as required.
- Ensure compliance with all ethical standards and legal requirements throughout case management.
- Skills
- Knowledge of litigation terminology and related concepts
- Proficiency in legal research
- Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clear and persuasive legal drafting.
- Excellent negotiation skills to facilitate settlements or contractual agreements.
- Experience with legal administrative tasks within a busy law office environment.

Job Type : Full-time
Base Pay : $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
