Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details : \n

  • Standard shift hours : 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM with flexibility required for earlier or later procedures

    • \n

  • Call responsibilities divided equally among team members, typically two nights per week and every other weekend

    • \n

  • Weekend call coverage from close of business Friday to department opening Monday morning

    • \n

  • Must respond to call within 30 minutes of notification

    • \n

  • Float between Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Cath Lab as needed

    • \n

  • 24-hour orientation period with modules completed during orientation

    • \n

  • Patient ratio of 2 : 1 during day shifts

    • \n

  • Daily census of approximately 5 patients with 5 visits per day

    • \n

  • Work with adult and geriatric patient populations

    • \n

  • Must have 2 years of experience in specialty

    • \n

  • Travel experience required - first-time travelers not accepted

    • \n

  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, ARRT, and Louisiana State License

    • \n

  • Must live over 65 miles from facility (non-local travelers only)

    • \n

  • Compact or Louisiana license required upon submission

    • \n

  • Hurricane season assignment expectations from June 1 - November 30

    • \n

  • May be assigned to emergency team during hurricane events with expectation to stay at facility

    • \n

  • Strict no call-in policy enforced

    • \n

  • One week of pre-approved time off allowed per contract

    • \n

  • 7 weekend shifts required per contract period
