About The Position

Job Title : MRI Tech

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : MRI Tech

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day 4x10-Hour; Mid 4x10-Hour

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : Minimum 1 year

License : Required

Certifications : BLS, ARRT MR

Must-Have : Experience with EPIC charting

Description :

1 year experience preferred; first-time travelers welcome.

Position does not require floating between units.

On-call work is not required.

Weekends may be required during day shifts.

Block schedules are necessary.

Expected patient ratios are 1 : 1.

This position will assist with day and evening shifts, as well as possible weekends.

Nights and on-call duties are not part of the role.

Ability to work three of five major holidays is expected.

Must have experience in adult acute care and outpatient settings.

Familiarity with various imaging modalities and equipment is essential.

Specific experience is needed with adult abdomen, breast, chest, brain, and soft tissue imaging.

Other skills such as image post-processing and multiplanar reconstruction are required.
