CNC Mill Machinist

Full-Time | 2nd Shift – 3 : 00PM–11 : 00PM, Monday–Friday (Overtime as needed)

Location – Mishawaka, Indiana

Aegis Worldwide is seeking multiple CNC Mill Machinists to join a precision manufacturing team. This role will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC milling machines to produce hydraulic valve manifolds and other high-precision components. The CNC Mill Machinist will ensure parts meet tight tolerances, maintain machine performance, and contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining requirements

Select and install cutting tools, fixtures, and materials for each job

Set up CNC mill machines, load materials, and secure workpieces properly

Make offsets and edits using G-code or conversational code languages

Monitor machine operations, ensuring accuracy and preventing scrap

Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to meet quality standards

Troubleshoot and resolve machining problems to minimize downtime

Perform daily maintenance and 5S housekeeping on CNC work centers

Collaborate with machinists, programmers, and supervisors to optimize machining processes

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred

2–7+ years of CNC mill or lathe experience making offsets and adjustments

Proficiency with G&M code; experience with Mazatrol a plus

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings

Familiarity with Mazak, Makino, or Tsugami CNC machines is a plus

Strong understanding of machining tolerances, speeds, and feeds

Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)

Positive, proactive attitude with strong attention to detail

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Custom Cell : $25–$29 / hour
