Community Program Manager

Are you a program manager who enjoys building lasting relationships with technical communities? AWS is seeking a driven and focused community program manager to support the growth of our global AWS User Group community. This individual will work with key stakeholders to create frameworks and processes which help scale the global community of AWS User Groups. This includes creation and procurement of program resources, benefits fulfillment, tracking of program engagement, and day-to-day stakeholder support. This role will sit within our AWS Developer Experience organization, where we are shaping the future for how technical builders learn, experiment, and build with AWS by meeting them where they are and providing the right technical education, tools, and resources to enable developer success.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Work with global User Group lead to support program strategy for scaling community engagement within our AWS User Group community
• Create mechanisms and maintain playbooks to ensure stakeholders can seamlessly support growth of AWS User Groups globally
• Manage program benefit fulfillment, distribution, and tracking of resource consumption
• Own processes for analyzing and quantifying the impact (both short and long term) of community engagement via AWS User Groups
• Work with stakeholders to build journeys for connecting User Group members into other relevant AWS programs

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $53,200 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $113,700 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
