Responsibilities Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting Provides care for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations Night shifts, 12 hours (19 : 00 – 07 : 00), three shifts per week Required to work every third weekend as needed and agreed upon Uses Pyxis medication system, MediTech documentation system, and Vocera communication system Floating may occur in rotation with core staff and according to clinical experience Performs all standard ED procedures, including care for CVA, ortho-trauma, head injury, near drowning, and other emergent cases Responsible for assessment, triage, and management of all ED patient types and presentations Must follow isolation precautions and manage procedural sedation and IV vasopressor administration First-time travelers are welcome to apply Navy blue scrubs are required Proper use of Kronos system for clocking in and out is expected Requirements Active IL RN license required Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department experience Current certifications : ACLS, BLS, and PALS Proficient in emergency nursing skills including dysrhythmia interpretation, blood product administration, central line care, IV starts and sedation, and phlebotomy Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-620510.
