TITLE : Buyer

POSITION OBJECTIVE : The job objective is to procure raw materials, components or various supplies utilized in the manufacturing of the finished goods produced at Florida Supplement. In addition, materials should be sourced and procured from the most appropriate vendors, balancing cost and quality.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
• Minimum of two to three years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Nutraceutical or Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office programs, MRP software systems (e.g. AS400).
• Proficient in the use of calculations for ordering increment and costs required.
• Minimum education requirement Associates of Arts degree.
