As a Compounding Pharmacy Technician, you will prepare medications in mass quantities, review order lists and create daily workloads. You will also be responsible for matching compounded products against outgoing orders, while helping to maintain a clean and efficient lab environment. You should understand Material Safety Data Sheet MSDS guidelines for maintaining safety and managing safety events. Also, must be able to stand for long periods of time and be capable of wearing all protective wear as required by State Board of Pharmacy (mask, gloves, gown, hair net, safety goggles etc.). Responsibilities :
Follow all company policies and proceduresKeep equipment operating by following operating instructionsDemonstrates ability to perform sterile compounding per strict USP 795 / 800guidelinesDemonstrates proficiency with following directionAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt with change of workflowProperly use, calibrate and maintains equipment needed in making of compoundsSampling batches for quality testing. Executes required in-process product quality checks and documents accuratelyPerform miscellaneous inventory of consumables to ensure proper stockOperate, clean and sterilize aseptic compounding equipment and compounding areasMaintain housekeeping standards in the compounding areasPerform any other duties as assigned by supervisorEnsure all calculations on compounding log sheets are accurate and correctFollow all SOPs, USP and all other safety and company policies, double check calculations, record compounding procedures, lot and expiry of ingredients.Coordinate with other pharmacy team members to compound preparations and execute quality assurance procedures, following standard operating proceduresEnsure all compounds are prepared in accordance to the master formulas and in according with USP, USP

Responsible for inspection, maintenance, cleaning, and sterilization of all laboratory equipment, instruments, utensils, and work surfaces necessary / required for the preparationsMonitor and record inventory of chemicals, materials, consumables, and other required items.Cleaning of all work areas, including work surfaces, equipment, floors, walls etc.,Qualifications
1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician RequiredHigh School Diploma or equivalentCurrent Nevada Pharmacy Technician License1 year experience with Excel is preferredExperience with Compounder / PK SoftwareExperience with compounding creams, capsules, and trochesExcellent attention to detailFlexible and proactive to meet varied patient and company needsSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyStrong interpersonal and people skillsAble to read, write, and speak English properly, other languages are a plusAbility to perform simple pharmaceutical calculations for individualized prescriptions.Must be able to meet physical demands which may include light lifting
