Position Summary

The Nurse Practitioner will provide acute and preventive care for pediatric patients in an urgent care environment. This includes performing exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses or injuries, and ensuring a positive, family-centered experience for every visit.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat pediatric patients presenting with acute or minor injuries and illnesses
• Perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe appropriate medications
• Deliver compassionate care and communicate effectively with children and their families
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to maintain efficient clinic operations
• Accurately document all encounters in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Ensure compliance with clinical policies, safety procedures, and state practice guidelines
