Job description

HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in San Diego, California.

Job Title : RN – Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool

Location : 3020 Childrens Way, San Diego, CA 92123

Shift : 3x12-Hour (7 : 00 AM–7 : 00 PM or 7 : 00 PM–7 : 00 AM)

Required Skills & Experience :

  • Minimum of two (2) years of PICU experience or strong CVICU background with proven floating experience.
  • Proficiency in IV therapy, phlebotomy, ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and administration of blood products.
  • Experience with pediatric patients in critical care, including congenital heart disease, ECMO, and procedural sedation.
  • Epic charting experience required.
  • Must be able to float between PICU, CTICU, and NICU as needed.
  • Previous travel experience preferred.

    • Education :

  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

    • Licensure & Certifications :

  • California RN License (active at time of submission).
  • AHA BLS (Basic Life Support).
  • AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).

    • Flu vaccine required (no exemptions).

    COVID-19 vaccine not required.
