Aerospace Assembler & Fabrication Technician

Locations & Shifts :

AMT (Arlington) : 1st Shift : Mon-Thu, 6 : 00 AM-4 : 30 PM

2nd Shift : Mon-Thu, 4 : 30 PM-3 : 30 AM

Damar (Monroe) : 1st Shift : Mon-Fri, 5 : 00 AM-1 : 30 PM

Responsibilities - Assembler

Assemble units, parts, and components according to blueprints and specifications using hand and power tools.

Bolt, screw, or rivet accessories to fasten and support components.

Drill holes and attach brackets, hinges, or clips for secure installations.

Locate and mark reference points using jigs, templates, and measuring instruments.

Inspect and test installed units for fit, performance, and compliance.

Position and align subassemblies in jigs or fixtures following blueprint lines.

Cut, trim, and file parts to verify fitting tolerances.

Install bushings using liquid nitrogen or presses.

Apply sealants or paint per customer specifications using proper safety devices.

Operate shop equipment such as C-squeeze, arbor presses, cherry pullers, and other hand tools.

Responsibilities - Fabrication Technician

Fabricate aerospace parts using hand, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools.

Cut, form, bend, and straighten metal using hammers, saws, and grinders.

Operate shrinker / stretcher, arbor press, stretch form, router, shear, brake press, and hot joggle.

Inspect first part run and ensure conformance to specifications.

Read and interpret manufacturing drawings accurately.

Follow all safety guidelines and use proper protective equipment.

Essential Skills

Level 1 : Minimum 6 months assembly experience

Level 2 : 1 year assembly experience

Level 3 : 3 years assembly experience

Proficiency with hand and power tools

Ability to read and follow work instructions

Basic math skills

Familiarity with Microsoft Windows

Preferred Qualifications

Aerospace assembly experience

Mechanical aptitude

Experience with wiring, electrical, and electronic assembly

Ability to work on an assembly line

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 / hr.
