Travel Cath Lab Technologist - $2,366 per week

Prime Time Healthcare is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Waterloo, Iowa. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Cath Lab Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Job Duties : Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac and electrophysiology (EP) procedures under the direction of the physician. Scrub and assist in cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker (PPM) implants, and EP studies . Prepare patients and sterile fields; assist with wire / catheter manipulation, injections, and device deployment. Monitor hemodynamic and ECG data during procedures, ensuring timely and accurate documentation. Operate imaging equipment and assist with contrast injections under fluoroscopy guidance. Assist in patient transport, positioning, and pre / post-procedure care as needed. Maintain cath lab inventory, clean equipment, and ensure compliance with infection control standards. Accurately chart procedures and patient data using EPIC Cupid and MAC-Lab systems when applicable. Participate in rotating on-call schedule for emergent cases, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Collaborate with cardiologists, EP physicians, RNs, and fellow technologists to ensure safe and efficient lab workflow. Qualifications : ARRT (R) certification – Required BLS and ACLS (AHA) – Required Minimum 1 year recent experience in a Cath Lab – Required Must be experienced in scrubbing both Cath and EP procedures , including pacemaker and device implants Proficiency with EPIC Cupid and MAC-Lab monitoring – Highly Preferred Strong working knowledge of radiographic equipment and sterile technique Ability to respond quickly and accurately in emergency situations Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Adaptability to rotating call schedule and emergency case response Associate Degree or Certification in Radiologic Technology – Required About Prime Time Healthcare Prime Time Healthcare is a leading provider of traveling healthcare professionals nationwide.
