Advanced Pain Care (APC) is a rapidly growing Healthcare Services / Physician Practice Management / Healthcare Provider in the Anesthesiology, Neurosurgery, Pain Management, Behavioral Health and Rheumatology sectors, headquartered in Austin, TX. We are a multi-site, multi-specialty practice with 4 Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) and over a dozen clinics with plans to accelerate our growth.
The Director of Revenue Cycle Management oversees and manages the RCM functions by providing leadership, organizational, and strategic direction to drive efficient, accurate, and compliant RCM billing and collections activities to maximize reimbursement in a centralized billing environment at the Austin headquarters.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Plans, develops, and implements programs, projects, strategies, processes, and technology to continuously improve and manage the revenue cycle and increase profitability.
- Develops and maintains department dashboards and distributes reports to the appropriate audience. This includes departmental KPIs and reports, executive dashboards, staff productivity, and quality reports, etc.
- Leverages the Experian Health tool to maximize the value to the RCM process.
- Provides data driven insights and actionable information to drive improvement, increase efficiency, and implement best practices in revenue cycle operations.
- Reports on daily operational statistics as requested by leadership, key findings, insights and recommendations to respective counterparts.
- Analyzes data for insights into claims management, and for special prevention and denials management projects. This includes identifying denial trends by root cause, Payor-related issues, physician trends, etc.
- Develops and ensures implementation of policies, guidelines, and implementation procedures; and ensures goals and objectives are properly defined and clearly established.
- Collects, organizes, analyzes, and disseminates significant amounts of information from various data sources with attention to detail and accuracy, including timeliness.
- Oversees all functions of the Revenue Cycle process, including coding, eligibility, pre-authorization, payment posting, patient account representatives, charge entry, EDI / claim submission / claims rejects, A / R follow up, patient statements, and external collections activities.
- Motivates and leads high-performing teams; attracts, recruits and retains required members as needed; and provides mentoring as a cornerstone to career development.
- Works closely with leaders in the areas of Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Information Systems, and Compliance to achieve business objectives and implement organizational strategy.
- Works with the CFO and company leaders to develop and implement the revenue cycle strategy.
- Hires and trains all revenue cycle personnel and oversees these HR functions.
- Works closely with integration teams to ensure smooth and successful transitions.

Requirements : Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.8+ years of revenue cycle experience in a healthcare organization.4+ years of management level experience in revenue cycle in a fast paced, high volume, high growth environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify trends and issues, and the ability to execute solutions to address issues.Strong experience communicating and presenting to internal and external stakeholders at all levels.Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and track process improvement projects autonomously.Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certification (Preferred).No travel required.Compensation
$150,000 starting salary
