Manufacturing - Assembly / Utility II

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Sub-Assembly : Assists with the assembly of door and window sashes, sills, and frames according to work orders and blueprints.
• Fabrication : Participates in the fabrication process as needed, which may include cutting wood components, operating machinery (provides training), and assisting with the application of aluminum cladding.
• Finishing : Assists with the preparation and finishing of window and door components, following established quality standards. This may involve sanding, cleaning, and masking.
• Final Assembly : Assists with the final assembly of windows and doors, ensuring all components are properly secured and function smoothly.
• Material Coordination : Maintains a clean and organized work area by keeping materials readily available for production processes. May involve restocking materials and assisting with inventory control.
• Quality Control : Performs basic quality checks on components and finished products, identifying and reporting any discrepancies.
• Machine Operation : Operates basic machinery used in the production process after receiving proper training and authorization.
• Cleaning and Maintenance : Participates in cleaning and maintaining work areas and equipment.
• Installation :   Participates, as needed, on the Merrill Millwork installation team for patio doors, front entrance doors and windows.

Compensation details : 23-31 Hourly Wage
