Description

Captivation Software has an immediate need for a mid / senior level full-stack developer to support the team. Support will focus on development and sustainment of the WEBCANDID tool, which tracks, administers, and archives requests for mission-critical published intelligence reports used by the Intelligence Community and partners around the world. Efforts will include creating enhancements for WEBCANDID based on high-priority mission needs, as well as maintenance / sustainment of the existing code base. WEBCANDID is in the process of getting approval for a partial re-write of the data storage and metrics display portions of the WEBCANDID tool. This new effort will include modern technologies and allow someone to be involved in the decisions for the way forward.

Requirements

Security Clearance :

• Must currently hold a Top Secret / SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen

Minimum Qualifications :

At least 7 years of software engineering experience

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Four (4) years of additional SWE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree

Master’s degree can be substituted for two (2) years experience

Required Skills :

Java 8+

Understanding, maintaining, and troubleshooting interfaces between multiple applications

Elasticsearch / Mongo

Spring Boot

Desired Skills :

AWS

Vue / React / Angular

RESTful web services

Oracle

Agency reporting and dissemination tools

Agency classification policies

Working in an agile environment using JIRA and Confluence

Benefits

Annual Salary : $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
