We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our growing team. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a 25k square foot sheet metal manufacturing facility, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. This role involves managing shop, Field orders, coordinating resources, supervising staff, and implementing processes to maximize productivity and efficiency while maintaining strong client relationships.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily operations for sheet metal projects, including fabrication, maintenance, packaging and delivery.
- Manage shop production schedules, material procurement, and workforce allocation.
- Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and foremen to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and profitability; provide regular progress updates to leadership.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to workflow, equipment usage, and quality assurance.
- Hire, train, and supervise shop and field employees, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service and resolving operational issues promptly.
- Oversee equipment maintenance, fleet management, and inventory control.
- Develop and enforce operational policies, procedures, and reporting systems.
