Zachary Piper Solutions is supporting a federal program through a government integrator partner and is looking to bring on a Material Coordinator to support logistics and inventory control efforts at a secure facility in Lakewood, CO or Hines, IL. This is a fully onsite and hands-on operational role focused on asset tracking, warehouse support, and materials movement in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities of the Material Coordinator:
● Track incoming and outgoing inventory using designated asset management tools
● Assist with receiving, storing, packing, and shipping materials
● Perform routine audits and resolve any inconsistencies in asset records
● Move equipment and materials between local sites using company-provided vehicles
● Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools
● Load and unload shipments, organize stock in storage locations
● Complete basic vehicle inspections before and after use
● Coordinate with on-site teams to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace
Non-negotiable Requirements for the Material Coordinator:
● Ability to obtain U.S. Public Trust
● High school diploma or equivalent
● Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics support
● Valid driver’s license and clean driving history
● Comfortable with physically active work, including lifting up to lbs and operating machinery
● Basic math skills and ability to maintain organized records
Qualifications for the Material Coordinator:
● Forklift certification (state-recognized)
● Prior experience supporting federal programs or prime contractors
● Familiarity with digital inventory systems or logistics software
Work Environment Notes:
● Requires consistent lifting, standing, and warehouse movement
● Some driving between nearby sites as needed
● Indoor and outdoor work depending on material transfer locations
Compensation for the Material Coordinator:
● $k-$k annual salary (dependent on experience) ● Cigna Medical, Dental, Vision, Holidays, k, PTO and Sick Leave as required by law
