This is an onsite role and does require you to be in the office 5 days a week. They will own the Product Development Lifecycle from ideation through post-launch performance evaluation, ensuring alignment with REP's strategic goals and delivering innovative, high-quality products to market. In this role, Product Manager II will identify market opportunities, define product requirements, and bridge the gap between technical feasibility and customer needs. They will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and supply chain teams to bring innovative products to market, while always advocating for the best possible product. Success in this role requires a balance of strategic vision, technical expertise, and customer insight. Product Manager II must have the ability to motivate and challenge other teams while confidently navigating difficult trade-offs when making product decisions. As a key leader in the organization, this individual will influence major business decisions and contribute to REP's long-term growth.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Focused on but not limited to : Product Expertise : Be a subject matter expert on REP's products, industry trends, and customer needs. Product Strategy & Roadmap : Lead the product strategy and roadmap execution across multiple product categories, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.Market Research & Competitive Analysis : Identify industry leading products, conduct in-depth market research, analyze customer feedback, and monitor industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.Product Scope : Develop Market Requirements Documents (MRDs) that outline product specifications & requirements, competitive benchmarking, cost analysis, packaging, and key features. Product Definition : Clearly define "the why" behind each product and confidently communicate product value in a way that resonates with both internal teams and customers. Work closely with marketing and creative teams to ensure messaging aligns with the product's core benefits and differentiators.Translate Technical Decisions : Bridge the gap between engineering and marketing by explaining technical product aspects in a way that is meaningful and useful for marketing asset creation. Ensure the marketing team has the right information to highlight key product innovations, performance benefits, and competitive advantages.Technical Collaboration : Challenge and collaborate with the engineering team to push for innovative solutions while maintaining an understanding of feasibility. Advocate for the best possible product by balancing technical constraints, business goals, and customer needs. Know when to push for "hard" but achievable solutions versus recognizing true technical limitations.Cross-Functional Leadership : Influence and lead across the organization to bring products to market successfully and on time. Confidently advocate for product excellence, even when it requires difficult conversations or challenging decisions.Project & Process Management : Collaborate with project managers to ensure key milestones are met from concept through launch while identifying and implementing opportunities to optimize product development processes.Customer Insights & Testing : Lead and scale product testing efforts, gathering feedback from internal and external user groups to refine designs.Product Lifecycle Management : Monitor post-launch product performance, drive improvements, and manage updates or end-of-life strategies. Conduct customer surveys to assess post-purchase experience.Product Cost Analysis : Perform margin analysis on both new and existing SKUs and implement pricing, packaging, and product improvements to optimize profitability.KPI Reporting : Track, report, and be responsible for setting key performance metrics, including new product revenue and other departmental goals.NPI Budgeting & Planning : Own the development of the annual product roadmap with launch timelines and projected revenue for new products.Stakeholder Communication : Own key product meetings, including gate reviews, design reviews, marketing kickoffs, 30-day success reviews, and change control meetings, often involving senior leadership.Product Launch Support : Act as the primary point of contact for new product launches, ensuring smooth execution and internal alignment surrounding product pricing and initial order quantities. Post-Launch Analysis : Lead 30-day review meetings to assess sales performance (forecast vs. reality), margin impact, competitor response, and customer feedback. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : Assigns, trains, schedules or oversees work of others.You may be expected to work on your own projects while having up to 3 direct reports of varying Product Manager / Analyst roles. EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE : Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university. Masters preferred. At least 5 years of related Product management experience in the fitness industry, consumer goods, retail, or related industry. Product Management Certification is a plus. Experience managing end-to-end product development from ideation to launch, with a track record of delivering successful product launches.
