Experienced Pool Equipment Repair Technician

We are seeking a solution-oriented and customer-focused Equipment Repair Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for diagnosing issues with swimming pool equipment and providing solutions to each customer, following our proven diagnostic process, communicating alternative solutions, and completing the solution in an efficient manner while adhering to established protocols and sharing lessons learned with the team.

We are looking for an individual who loves working outdoors, is self-starting and able to work independently with minimal oversight, and who demonstrates integrity and a commitment to delivering resort-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Manage a daily schedule of equipment repair tasks.
• Repair pool pumps, heaters, filters, timers, pool cleaners, blowers, lights, automated pool systems, chlorinators, backwash valves, PVC / plumbing (copper, galvanized), automatic covers, safety fences, winter covers, and other pool-related equipment.
• Knowledge of 110 volt and 220 volt electrical equipment.
• Manage an inventory of equipment on the truck and replenish inventory when needed.
• Utilize a smart phone for the Pool Ops mobile platform.
• Identify opportunities beyond repair calls to upgrade equipment or improve the customer experience with other products.
• Renovation experience (re-plaster or equivalent such as Diamond Brite, PebbleTech); tile replacement / repair; deck texture / seal; pavers install / repair (preferred, not required).

Bonus potential : This position has the potential to earn an annual bonus based on company gross revenue goals.
