Department / Unit Summary

Provides direct patient care on the Outpatient Services, Pre and Post OP unit using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Communicates effectively with the care team and the patient / family to support safe, high-quality outcomes. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.

Qualifications and requirements

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associates degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include :

Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.

One year of experience preferred

ACLS and PALS preferred; Handle with Care preferred.
