Title : Mainframe Developer

Location : Florham Park, NJ - Hybrid

Position Summary :

Our direct client is seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with hands-on expertise in FIS and OMNI. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge of mainframe environments and proven experience in developing, enhancing, and supporting banking applications.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications with a focus on FIS and OMNI systems.
  • Work with COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2 to support critical banking functions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Ensure application stability, performance, and compliance with financial industry standards.
  • Support ongoing enhancements and system integrations as required.

Qualifications :

  • Strong experience as a Mainframe Developer in enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on expertise with FIS applications and OMNI core banking system.
  • Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and related mainframe technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a hybrid / remote environment.
