Job description

Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Gatesville, Texas.

Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical (Float to ED & ICU)

Location : Gatesville, TX

Shift : 3×12-hour Night Shifts

Start Date : ASAP

Contract Length : 13 Weeks

Responsibilities :

  • Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on the Med / Surg unit.
  • Float to ED and ICU as required to support patient care needs.
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, administer medications, and perform necessary treatments.

    • Manage IV drips and BiPap therapies; ventilator experience not typically required.

    Requirements :

  • Active RN License (Texas or Compact).
  • Certifications : BLS and ACLS required.
  • Experience : Minimum of 2 years of recent Med / Surg experience with ability to float to ED / ICU.
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with IV drips and BiPap management preferred.
