We are seeking an experienced and motivated Community Manager to join our team and oversee daily operations of a conventional apartment community in the Houston area.
Position Summary :
The Community Manager is responsible for the overall management and performance of the property, including financial oversight, resident satisfaction, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a proactive leadership style, and a passion for creating thriving communities.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee daily property operations, ensuring high standards of service and appearance.
Develop and manage operating budgets, control expenses, and meet financial performance goals.
Supervise, train, and motivate on-site staff to achieve property objectives.
Maintain high occupancy levels through effective marketing, leasing strategies, and resident retention initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing laws, and local regulations.
Handle resident concerns and requests promptly and professionally.
Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate maintenance and capital improvement projects.
Prepare accurate and timely reports for ownership and senior management.
Qualifications :
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Community Manager (conventional property experience required).
Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
Knowledge of property management software (Yardi, RealPage, or similar).
Proficient in budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
CAM, CAPS, or similar certification preferred but not required.
