Senior Medical Economics Analyst

A company is looking for a Senior Medical Economics Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

Extracts and analyzes data to support executive decision-making and identify trends in medical care costs

Collaborates with various teams to provide insights on medical interventions and tracks key performance indicators

Designs reports to monitor health plan performance and recommends strategies for improving financial outcomes

Required Qualifications

At least 3 years of health care analytics and / or medical economics experience or equivalent education and experience

Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, health care management, or a related field

Demonstrated understanding of Medicaid and Medicare programs or other health care plans

Experience with building dashboards in Excel, Power BI, and / or Tableau

Knowledge of health care financial terms and coding systems used in medical billing
