Operating Room RN Job Details Location : South Bend, Indiana (46601) – Indiana nursing jobs Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Setting : Operating Room (OR) – Surgical Services Start Date : December 8, 2025 End Date : February 16, 2026 Duration : 10-week travel nurse contract Shift : 4x10-hour shifts (1 : 00 PM – 11 : 30 PM) Hours per Week : 40 Estimated Weekly Pay : $2100–$2150 Call Requirements : 1–2 weekend call shifts per 6-week schedule; 1–2 days of potential 4-hour weekday shift extension Holiday Rotation : Yes Scrubs : Provided Charting System : Cerner Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (pending accepted, must be active by start date) Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience in a hospital setting Experience with Cerner electronic health records (EHR) required Certifications : ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) Demonstrated proficiency in neuro, orthopedic, trauma, vascular, and robotic surgeries Experience with surgical procedures such as ALIF, anterior cervical fusion, arthroscopy, craniotomy, kyphoplasty, laminectomy / discectomy, lumbar fusion, total joint replacement, and XLIF Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates) COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical / religious exemptions considered) Willingness to float within the hospital or to affiliated healthcare facilities as needed OR RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes Demonstrate clinical expertise in neuro, ortho, trauma, vascular, and robotic surgeries Utilize Cerner for accurate and timely clinical documentation Participate in scheduled call and holiday rotations Maintain professionalism and adhere to hospital policies and standards of conduct Complete all required onboarding modules prior to assignment start date Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse in South Bend, Indiana, and take the next step in your nursing career!
