Description of Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging results
• Manage and maintain sophisticated imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Document procedures meticulously while maintaining accurate patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay ahead of advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices for optimal patient care

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Valid certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
