Production Analyst

The Production Analyst performs administrative functions within the Materials Department in the creation / maintenance / distribution of various Production Schedules, Daily Operator Production Sheets, and Production Performance Reports for the Compression Molding Processes, Prep Production Processes and the Cut and Drill Processes. This is accomplished through performance of the essential duties and responsibilities of this position.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following :

• Maintains and updates various regulatory logs and records.
• Maintains and updates various performance records to include Department specific A3s, Key Corporate Performance Measurements, and process improvement data.
• Creates / maintains controlled documents to include Work Instructions, Inspection Log Sheets and Shop Packets.
• Enters employee reported daily labor transaction activities into Master Compression Spreadsheet and creates reports from the data entered.
• Daily prep inventory
• Compression Schedules - maintain and update
• Updates Prep Schedules
• Updates Mill schedules
• Creates pick tickets for compression
• A3s for Open Cure, Autoclave and Die Press
• Certification performance to customers
• Prep production reports
• Prep summary
• Distributes to the Production Departments - Shop Packets, Daily Production Sheets, Sales Order Pick-lists, test reporting / verification documents, etc.
• Maintains and updates various Area / Facility specific logs and records.
• Maintains and updates the various Master Production Schedules based upon the information obtained from the Daily Production Sheets.
• Investigate ambiguities (uncertainties) from the Daily Production Sheets and correct these discrepancies to ensure the integrity of the schedules when distributed.
• Assists the Master Scheduler in entering Sales Orders into Navision, adding these new items / orders into the Master Schedule and preparing confirmations to the Customer.
• Train as backup for Compression and Heavy Truck Schedulers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills And Abilities :

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of database, spreadsheet, and word processing software, together with the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where standardized practices exist. An individual should also have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form and show the initiative to perform with only minimal supervision. The individual must be able to read and write, add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions. The individual must also have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees and their managers.
