Assignment Type : Travel nursing job

Unit : Medical-Surgical (Med / Surg)

End Date : March 15, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Nursing Shift : 12-hour nights (19 : 00 – 07 : 00)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1780 - $1910 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Wyoming RN license or multi-state Registered Nurse license (attach to resume)

Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association required)

Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg nursing experience

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Deliver direct, individualized nursing care to diverse patient populations using evidence-based practices

Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans

Prepare and administer medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV) and document all nursing care

Monitor and adjust specialized medical equipment; interpret and record electronic displays

Educate patients and families on surgical procedures, post-treatment care, and home healthcare needs

Initiate corrective action in response to adverse patient symptoms

Perform bedside care, including dressing changes, catheter insertions, and IV starts

Assist physicians during examinations and treatments

Respond to life-saving situations using nursing standards and protocols

Participate in discharge planning and patient education

Maintain accurate, concise, and timely documentation of all care provided

Perform other related duties as assigned
