Position Overview

As a Patient Care Associate in our Pediatric Intensive Care / Peds Unit, you ll work under the direction of an RN or LPN to support individualized patient care and help each child reach their highest level of wellness. You ll be part of a collaborative, mission-driven team performing essential clinical and non-clinical tasks.

Qualifications

Education :

High school diploma, GED, CNA / CPTC

• OR enrolled in a healthcare career program through high school
• OR current Mercy co-worker

Experience :

No experience required we ll train you!

Training :

Mercy provides a 175-hour training program (required if no prior experience)

Certifications :

BLS required within 1 month of hire

Preferred :

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
