Cyber Architect

Job Description BAE Systems, Inc. is currently looking for a Cyber Architect to join an innovative team in Hudson, NH. In Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA), we provide next-generation threat detection and countermeasure solutions to provide unparalleled electronic warfare capabilities to enhance mission survivability. This position supports the development of mission-critical information systems for a federal government client focused on national security.

The Cyber Architect will be part of a team that supports mission critical information systems with both obtaining and maintaining Authorization to Operate (ATO) in accordance with the customer's security policies.

The Cyber Architect, consulting with the various stakeholders across the organization, will proactively support cybersecurity engineering activities in a rapid development environment to support the specification, development, and application of computer security technologies, cybersecurity and information assurance management techniques to DoD systems on the Compass Call program. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and / or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

This position will require business travel to customer locations in support of customer meetings, product demonstration, Integration and / or systems testing.

Major Duties

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure cyber engineering initiatives are aligned and integrated with the operational needs of the organization
• Interact with technical leads, developers, and system owners to ensure that Authorization to Operate (ATO) security packages properly adhere to FISMA, NIST and JSIG security guidelines
• Lead Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities for DoD Systems in accordance with Risk Management Framework
• Develop, assess and maintain Body of Evidence documentation including but not limited to, system security plans, security CONOPS, risk management matrix, security control traceability matrix, security test procedures, and plan of action and milestones
• Review system security audit logs and take corrective action as needed
• Perform security monitoring and evaluation tasks including security audits, system control assessments
• Update technical security guides and diagrams for mission critical systems
• Possess a strong industry knowledge of the latest security trends, technology, etc., and demonstrate forward thinking around how this technology can support the operational needs of the Program and the future technical strategy of the organization
• Support engineering design reviews
• Support traditional systems engineering tasks such as concept of operations (CONOPS), requirements development and allocation, cyber design engineering, cyber implementation engineering, Verification and Validation, and continuous monitoring efforts during deployment, Operations and Sustainment
• Support architecture analysis and designs of defense-in-depth solutions
• Conduct and analyze vulnerability assessments to validate system compliance with RMF controls and DISA Security Technical Information Guidelines (STIG)

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range : $115779 - $196825

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to : business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
