Specific Job Functions :
- Oversee and manage the operations of the Financial Planning and Analysis team.
- Responsible for delivering weekly / monthly financial close, planning, forecasting, budgeting, and consolidations utilizing financial systems and advance excel functions.
- Analyze data to explain trends and variances from budget and forecast.
- Work with departments to understand key drivers and enhance financial modeling and forecast accuracy.
- Collect and analyze quantitative data to develop relevant reports leading to efficiencies and / or cost reductions.
- Support the preparation of internal management reports and summarize results to support senior management decisions.
- Identify business requirements and collaborate with operations to drive overall Company strategy (i.e. labor and staffing).
- Knowledge of casino resort operational systems with ability to extract data for analyses.
- Identify emerging risks and opportunities with the goal to plan, evaluate, and deliver strategy improvements to improve Company profit.
- Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department.
Qualifications :
Required Bachelor's degree in Business (preferably Finance or Economics), Information Management, Statistics, or Computer Science.Two (2) or more years of experience in relevant subject area.Prior experience as a Financial Analyst.Knowledge of Hospitality Industry preferred.Proficient with Microsoft Excel.Strong knowledge of reporting programs such as, Cognos TM1, Infogensis, Kronos, Infinium, Stratton Warren, Machine Accounting, Patron Management, LMS, SQL, SAS or additional database knowledge.Must have or be able to obtain a Gaming Registration.Must have a professional appearance and demeanor.Effective communication skills.Equal Opportunity Employer
