Background
Be a member of an exciting and professional team as a Mobile Crisis Clinician delivering assessment and treatment services to children, adolescents, and their families; in the community, at schools, police stations, or in hospitals throughout Northwest CT. The Mobile Crisis team responds to 211 calls, 24 hours / day, seven days / week.
This position requires a self-motivated clinician who can work in a fast-paced environment providing short-term clinical services to a diverse caseload of children and adolescents from birth to age 18 and their families utilizing a variety of treatment modalities
Qualifications
Must be able to commit to any 4 shifts per month.
Schedule : significant remote work available; dispatching from home.
We have a variety of shifts open; days, 2nd shift, and overnight.
Education and Experience requirements :
1. Must hold one of the following credentials : to start employment LMSW, LCSW, LMFTA, LMFT, LPCA, LPC, or licensed or license-eligible psychologist in the State of Connecticut, with master's degree in marriage and family therapy, social work or related human services field.
2. One year of post-graduate clinical experience working with children, adolescents or families is preferred. Experience in family therapies as well as family systems theory and practice is preferred
Mileage reimbursement for business-related miles.
Clinical Supervision is provided FREE of charge.
