Our Site Coordinator has a vital role in creating a positive and enriching environment where students can thrive beyond the classroom. This position focuses on fostering creativity, building confidence, and supporting academic and personal growth in a fun and engaging way. With strong leadership and organizational skills, the Site Coordinator ensures that every student feels safe, inspired, and empowered to succeed. As a Site Coordinator supporting the Program Leads, you will manage a team of staff, mentor Program Leads, and help develop their skills to enhance overall program quality.

Typical Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily after-school programs and activities that align with the organization's mission and student needs.
• Ensure programs are engaging, age-appropriate, and promote academic, social, and emotional development.
• Recruit, train, and manage after-school program staff.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for school administration, fostering strong relationships and partnerships to support program success.
• Develop staff schedules, assign duties, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
• Provide ongoing professional development and training to enhance staff effectiveness.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all staff and students.
• Address student behavior issues in a positive and constructive manner, following organizational guidelines.
• Monitor student attendance and engagement, addressing concerns with parents and school staff as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with district staff to support program goals and ensure alignment with school and community needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents / guardians to share updates on student progress and program activities.
• Maintain accurate records, including attendance, incident reports, and program evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with state and local regulations, including licensing and safety requirements.
• Develop and manage the program's budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Oversee program setup, including materials, space, and equipment.
• Coordinate transportation and meals / snacks for students as needed.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the after-school program, representing the organization positively to all stakeholders.
