About The Position

Must-Have :

Cath lab experience is a must.

IR experience or willingness to learn preferred.

Description :

The Cath Lab operates with two suites where an average of four cases are conducted daily.

Common diagnoses and types of patients include STEMI, NSTEMI, and pacemakers.

The lab also caters to IR patients as it is a combined lab.

Responsibilities include circulating and monitoring cases, as well as conducting pre and post procedure patient calls.

The schedule requires some weeknight call, approximately 10 times per month.

Weekend call is typically required every third weekend, including holiday call which is shared among staff.

The response time for call is 30 minutes.

Staff will work regular 8-hour shifts with the expectation of being on call as needed.

Clothing will consist of provided scrubs in standard colors.

Orientation will cover specific department processes over several days following initial orientation.

The cancellation policy allows for the hospital to cancel up to four shifts during this assignment.

Familiarity with EMR Systems would be beneficial, particularly with Epic, MacLab, and Siemens.

Cardiologists will be in-house during the day and on call overnight.

Managerial and coordinator roles are dedicated to the lab to support staff and operations.

This position does not require floating to other facilities.

The trauma level for this setting is classified as Level 3.
