Job description

Senior Specialist, Performance Marketing

The Senior Specialist, Performance Marketing will be a part of our Always On Marketing team. Our work includes leveraging AI tools for personalization, ideating and testing new marketing approaches, and developing best practices to share out to the broader marketing organization. The Senior Specialist role will focus on our Consumer Credit products, supporting efforts to acquire new users and grow engagement among the existing credit base. This job involves independent collaboration to enhance marketing processes and programs. The specialist analyzes data to identify trends, oversees team performance, and develops solutions to marketing challenges. Staying updated on best practices in digital marketing is essential to improve campaign effectiveness and ensure project success.

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Liaise with media agencies on launch plans, optimization roadmaps, and budget alignment
  • Work with creative teams to define roadmaps, review proposals, and ensure seamless execution
  • Activate co-branding campaigns, product launches, and report results to leadership
  • Drive churn experimentation strategy, including ideation, testing, and customer experience evaluation
  • Write experiment briefs, testing plans, and coordinate end-to-end implementation
  • Monitor experiments post-launch, identify insights, and optimize in-flight results
  • Manage budget reporting, including agency costs and incentive payouts, for all campaigns

Expected Qualifications :

  • 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Additional Responsibilities :

  • Lead global development and implementation of marketing strategies for PayPal Buy Now Pay Later products, including lifecycle, incentives, education, and trigger-based campaigns aligned with company objectives and market needs.
  • Design, execute, and optimize end-to-end marketing campaigns and experiments for diverse global markets, leveraging rigorous measurement frameworks, reliable tracking, and data-driven briefs.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience working on Buy Now Pay Later or financial products
  • Comfortable in a fast paced and fluid working environment
  • A natural problem-solver, seeks to find ways around roadblocks to execution
  • Passionate about creating best in class marketing content, focused on the customer experience with everything they create
