Operations Analyst II
The Agency for Health Care Administration is Florida's chief health policy and planning entity. The Agency is responsible for administering the Florida Medicaid program, the licensure and regulation of nearly 50,000 health care facilities, and empowering consumers through health care transparency initiatives. The Agency for Health Care Administration is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Operations Analyst II within the Division of Information Technology (IT). This position reports directly to the Info Tech Business Consultant Manager and assists with the administrative operations of the Division. The incumbent will support the administrative human resources and procurement needs of IT staff, staff of the Agency, and the customers of the Agency. This is a highly responsible professional Career Service position with administrative responsibilities within the Division of IT.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Participates in activities related to the development of the IT budget and surplus / deficit reports.Duties include ensuring accurate data is maintained, management reports are available, and keeping the spending current.Performs Agency IT procurement activities, including computer-related and software purchases, contracted services, and travel requests / reimbursement.Assists with personnel-related activities for the Division, as needed.The incumbent collaborates with other IT supervisors to obtain the necessary information and data to perform IT Administrative duties.Assists the IT Division Director with reviews, analysis, and research regarding legislative issues and prepares an analysis of the projected effect of any proposed legislation or action on IT budget impacts.Prepares / approves purchase requisitions in the state purchasing system MyFloridaMarketPlace Ariba on Demand (AOD).Acts as a liaison with Support Services - Procurement and Financial Services.Establishes purchase orders and contract management files.Maintains appropriate documentation for purchase orders, contract agreements, receiving reports, and approvals for payment.Responsible for their employees' state IT purchasing card and processes transactions against related pre-approved charges through the state purchasing card bank portal.Maintains appropriate documentation related to their employee state purchasing card for post-audit and reconciliation.Assists the Property Custodian for the Division of Information Technology. Duties include processing transfer & surplus forms and property ID memos as needed, and completing the Inventory Reconciliation for the Division on an annual basis.Assists in the maintenance of tasks assigned to the Division of IT through the AHCA CorrFlow system.Performs general administrative duties to include : research and report information to management as requested, assist visitors, answer and route phone calls, scheduling meetings, distribute mail, and receive packages.This position has been identified as mission-essential.The incumbent in this position may be required to work during the weekend or on holidays.In addition, mission essential personnel will be required to work during disasters, to include but not limited to, work before, during and / or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency.Emergency work may involve the incumbent working in another county or staffing location to assist other State Agencies with emergency work.Emergency duties may include, but not limited to, responses to or threats involving any disaster or threat of disaster, man-made or natural.Performs other duties as requested.Benefits of Working for the State of Florida :

Three (3) years of proven work experience in an administrative role.This position requires that you obtain a Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM) certification within one (1) year of hire.Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements :
