About the Role

As a Project Manager at xAI's Memphis facility, you'll take the helm, steering complex, multi-disciplinary projects from kickoff to completion. Working onsite with passionate, driven teams, you'll tackle intricate coordination challenges, streamline workflows, and ensure projects hit deadlines while meeting xAI's high standards. Expect to dive into the details, foster collaboration, and keep everything on track to support our mission of accelerating human scientific discovery through AI.

This is an in-person role based in Memphis, Tennessee, with approximately 20% travel required.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company project
• Manage the delivery of network infrastructure projects from inception through delivery
• Assist upstream planning and acquisition teams in developing infrastructure requirements, priorities, and delivery date expectations
• Serve as primary contact for engineering teams and escalate engineering management chains when delivery timelines are at risk
• Lead project status meetings while keeping downstream teams at xAI aware of project and delivery statuses
• Oversee all documentation, test results, and technical drawings while working with vendors and xAI staff to coordinate record keeping and communication
• Ensure a safe and productive work environment
