Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Perform all mechanical assembly related duties as assigned by team leader / supervisor.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Assume accountability for quality, part counts, time management, and job tracking.
- Coordinate with account managers and quality to resolve issues that arise during the assembly process.
- Wrap, package, and protect parts for shipment as required.
- Prepare and protect parts for downstream processes, both internally and externally.
Education and / or Work Experience Requirements :
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.Ability to work independently, and as a team member to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.Minimum 5 years of experience required.High school diploma or GED required.Drawing / blueprint reading proficiency required.Familiarity with PEM / Haeger hardware installation machines is a definite plus.Forklift certification a plus.Physical Requirements :
Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and / or quantitative productivity standards.Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly.
