Location : Hybrid – Onsite 3 days per week

Start Date : October 6th 2025

Duration : Contract (12+ months)

Overview

We are seeking a mid-level consultant / Junior Project Manager to support the Finance team through Workday Financials implementation. This role will focus on project management, financial data validation, and reporting. The ideal candidate has a background in finance / accounting systems, ERP-related projects, and strong analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate directly with implementation team and partner closely with Finance and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Manage project logistics, including meeting coordination and action item follow-ups.
  • Support review and validation of financial data before migration to Workday.
  • Validate Workday financial reports against legacy reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and update key workbooks to streamline SME review processes and establish a clear review hierarchy (prepare ? review ? final approval).
  • Track project progress and ensure accountability for deliverables.
  • Provide continuity on ERP-related tasks and step in during month-end close periods to support the implementation while SMEs are focused on operations.
  • Oversee testing cycles, reporting validation, and ensure transparency of financial data.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in ERP-related projects (Workday Financials experience required).
  • Strong accounting or finance transformation background; understanding of financial reporting.
  • Proven project management capabilities, ideally in finance / system implementations.
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills; Tableau experience a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and keep projects on track.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to work onsite 3 days per week.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience with Workday Financials
  • Background in consulting (Big 4 or similar) with exposure to finance systems projects.
  • Strong Tableau / BI reporting skills to enhance data validation and visualization.
  • Experience supporting month-end close processes within ERP transitions.
  • PMP or similar project management certification.
