Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Frisco, CO 80443 (Colorado nursing jobs)

Unit : OB Post Partum / Labor & Delivery

Start Date : November 17, 2025

End Date : February 14, 2026

Duration : 13-week contract

Shift : 12-hour night shifts (18 : 30 – 06 : 30)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Weekend Requirements : Two full weekends in a six-week period

On-call Requirements : Three weekend shifts in a six-week period

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2310 - $2470

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Colorado RN license or NLC compact state license (required)

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

American Heart Association BLS certification (required)

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (required)

Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) or AWHONN certification (required)

At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience preferred

Ability to float to other healthcare units or facilities within 60 miles as needed

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Assess physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs of OB patients through observation, interview, and clinical data review

Develop and implement individualized patient care plans with the interdisciplinary healthcare team

Demonstrate clinical competency in IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection

Promote patient health, safety, and rights in the labor and delivery setting

Provide patient and family education, assessing learning readiness and evaluating outcomes

Deliver compassionate, relationship-based nursing care that respects patient preferences and values

Delegate appropriately to non-RN healthcare personnel according to policy and regulations

Serve as a professional role model and mentor for new staff and nursing students

Participate in quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and ongoing professional development

Maintain accurate professional records and demonstrate commitment to lifelong learning
