Data Analyst with SQL and Python

Salary : $41,600 - 47,840 per year

• Ability to engage in discussions regarding findings with management.
• Must be a meticulous team player with solid data entry skills; knowledge of medical terminology is desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar applications.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check.

Responsibilities :

Review and evaluate inpatient, outpatient, and provider billing for medical treatment appropriateness;

Analyze charges from various revenue centers considering patient demographics, procedures, age, and facility type along with other relevant negotiation details;

Apply national coding standards and regulatory guidelines to billed claims;

Produce clear and concise findings;

Conduct research and offer internal responses based on itemized bills, claims, operative notes, and necessary documentation;

Support internal claim reviews and recommendations;

Communicate clinical and reimbursement insights with team members and management;

Collaborate and coordinate effectively across various teams and departments;

Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and requirements;

Perform additional duties as assigned.
