The City of Lakeport is seeking candidates for Police Officer I and II positions. The salary range is $4,731.00 to $7,370.00 monthly. The job is located in Lakeport, CA, and is a full-time position within the Police Department. The closing date is continuous.

This position involves patrolling assigned areas to prevent crime and enforce law and order, conducting special assignments, and performing investigations. Officers may also serve as motor officers, making traffic stops, issuing citations, and enforcing traffic safety laws. Additionally, they may act as training officers, investigators, and school resource officers.

Qualifications include education and / or experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for law enforcement. Special requirements include a Class C California driver's license, a P.O.S.T Basic Certificate, and meeting physical standards for public safety duties.
