Household Furniture is seeking reliable, motivated and hard working individuals for our several positions in our Distribution Center : A Delivery Driver, Lift Operator, and Warehouse Worker. Household Furniture is committed to providing the highest level of customer service and we need rock stars to help us achieve those goals!
Key Requirements :
- Valid State License
- Complete Drug / Background Check
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy furniture
Delivery Driver Responsibilities :
Load merchandise on vehiclesPut merchandise into a customers homeMaintaining vehicle (wash / clean inside & out of vehicle)Pride in your work environment as a team playerLift Operator Responsibilities :
Unload furniture trailers properly, minimizing product damagePut away merchandise in racks, minimizing product damageAssemble merchandise with care, working conscientiously to limit damagePull merchandise for customer pick ups and deliveries, minimizing product damageConduct cycle count inventoryHave a safety first mindset and look for ways to avoid accidentsTake ownership in assigned equipment and perform daily equipment inspectionsContribute to and maintain a clean working environmentOther duties and responsibilities as assignedAbility to work within teams and follow directionsAbility to actively listenAbility to communicate effectively and utilize communication tools appropriatelyAbility to contribute to the company's overall successQualifications :
Basic understanding of a WMSBasic knowledge of RF scannersMinimum 1 year of related experienceReliable, positive attitude, high energyMust be able to lift heavy objectsWarehouse Worker / Furniture Prep Responsibilities :
Receive and ship (load and unload) merchandiseAssemble merchandise with care, working conscientiously to limit damageWork the recycling station and maintain machinery and notify management of any issues with machineryContribute to and maintain a clean working environmentOther duties and responsibilities as assigned (example taking the trash out)Ability to work within teams and follow directionsAbility to actively listenAbility to communicate effectively and utilize communication tools appropriatelyAbility to contribute to the company's overall successBenefits and Perks
