Bilingual Accounts Receivable Clerk
We are looking for a bilingual Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our manufacturing team in Ft Lauderdale, Florida. This role involves managing various aspects of accounts receivable, including cash applications, customer account maintenance, and reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proficient in accounting software and Excel, and capable of communicating effectively in both English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Process and record incoming payments, including checks and wire transfers, across multiple branches.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and provide ad hoc reporting for management as needed.
- Utilize accounting software and Excel to perform daily accounts receivable tasks efficiently.
- Assist with generating customer invoices, updating pricing lists, and managing billing processes.
- Conduct follow-ups on overdue payments and ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
- Reconcile customer accounts and ensure accurate preparation of bank deposits.
- Maintain organized customer account files and address inquiries or discrepancies promptly.
- Support lien release processes and prepare sworn statements as required.
- Generate aging reports and assist in requesting notices of commencement when necessary.
Requirements
Fluent in English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.Proven experience in accounts receivable, preferably within the manufacturing or construction services industry.Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail when managing financial records.Ability to effectively resolve discrepancies and handle customer inquiries.Familiarity with lien releases, sworn statements, and related documentation.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
