WCS is seeking an RN for the Operating Room on a local contract at a prestigious hospital in Brooklyn, NY.

Job Function :

Day Shift.

\n

7am - 5 : 30pm.

\n

Provide perioperative nursing care in a 15+ room, multi-specialty operating room at a major academic medical center.

\n

\n

Assist with surgical cases across specialties including trauma, general surgery, urology, GYN, robotics (DaVinci Xi), plastics, pediatrics, orthopedics, and thoracic.

\n

\n

Float to the Ambulatory Surgery Unit or other perioperative areas as needed.

\n

\n

Ensure compliance with safety protocols, infection control, and proper documentation.

\n

\n

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to deliver safe and efficient patient care.

\n

\n \n

\n

Job Requirements : \n

4 years of OR nursing experience preferred.

\n

\n

Previous travel nursing experience required.

\n

\n

Trauma experience preferred.

\n

\n

Experience in General Surgery, Urology, GYN Surgery, Robotic Surgeries (DaVinci Xi – all specialties), Plastics, Pediatric Surgeries, Orthopedics, and Thoracic Surgery preferred.

\n

All other OR specialty experience welcomed.

\n

\n

Active New York State RN Licensure required.

\n

\n

BLS certification required.

\n
