Position Details :

Unit : Emergency Department (ED)

Patient Ratio : 1 : 4

Minimum Experience : 2 years of ER / ED nursing experience required

Licensure : North Carolina or Compact License — must be in hand at the time of assignment

First-Time Travelers : Accepted

Local Candidates : Accepted (within 75 miles)

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Floating : May float to ED observation unit as needed

Scrub Color : Royal Blue

Orientation : Bi-weekly sessions for onboarding

Additional Requirements :

Flu vaccination is mandatory; no exemptions or declinations accepted

Required Certifications :

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA only

BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only

PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - AHA only

CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) — Training provided during orientation, valid for 2 years

Preferred Education & Experience :

Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)

At least 2 years of recent ER / ED nursing experience in a fast-paced hospital environment

Experience handling diverse patient cases and rapid response situations

Certifications & Licenses :

Active North Carolina or Compact RN License (must be in hand)

ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications from AHA (American Heart Association) — current and valid

CPI training completed and valid for 2 years
