PACU RN Job Details – Salem, OR Estimated Weekly Salary : $1650 - $1770 Assignment Length : 13 weeks Start Date : December 8, 2025 End Date : March 9, 2026 Healthcare Setting : Prep / Recovery (Stage 2 Recovery), PACU Shift : 3x12-hour day shifts per week (05 : 30 - 19 : 30) Schedule : No weekends or holidays; variable start times (0900 or 1100) with advance notice Total Hours per Week : 36 Orientation : 40 hours Location : Salem, OR 97301 (Oregon travel nursing job) PACU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Oregon RN license can be pending at submission) Minimum 1 year of recent acute PACU nursing experience required BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required ACLS certification from AHA required (or obtained within 6 months of hire) PALS certification from AHA required within 6 months of hire Experience with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) required Professional certification in Prep / Recovery or PSS-CAPA preferred Ability to float to affiliate hospital (West Valley Hospital) as needed PACU RN Responsibilities Deliver safe, high-quality patient care in the Prep / Recovery and PACU settings Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures Administer medications, manage IVs, and provide effective pain management Interpret lab values, monitor vital signs, and respond promptly to emergencies Educate patients and families on post-operative care and discharge instructions Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, etc.) Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR Ensure compliance with all hospital and healthcare policies and procedures Ready to take your nursing career to the next level with a rewarding PACU RN travel job in Oregon?
