About the Clinician's Workday
The provider will cover 24 / 7 call, including weekends, typically working 5x8s or less depending on surgical volume. Shifts are 24 hours with low volume, averaging about 45 deliveries per year and just under 200 surgeries annually, including roughly half-day surgeries / endoscopies on weekdays. Case mix includes General Surgery with Foregut and Bariatrics, T&A, family practice procedures, vein surgery, C-sections, ER airway management, and sedation for fracture care. The role is autonomous, using Cerner EMR, with one primary OR and a second available for backup.
